Our Land, Our Life
In the theme of this comic, we wanted to show several critical comments concering Forestry Law both from the aspect of the law's content as well as the implementation and the impacts that are caused by it against communities araound forests (indigenous and local peoples). Obviously, these regulations have caused conflict and anarchist actions against the communities around forest. One of these is the concept of the right to control the country which is dominant in the Forestry Law and has already uprooted the command and ownership of indigenous peoples to their traditional lands and territories. This concept, which in practice is of officials and perpetrators of big business displacing and expelling indigenous peoples from forests has become the basis for this comic which is hoped will facilitate readers especially those who are still unaware of and therefore, do not understand their rights as citizens.
