The Manual on Human Rights Reporting, published jointly by the Centre for Human Rights and UNITAR in 1992, has its origins in a series of training courses on human rights reporting for government officials responsible fot the preparation and drafting of reports required under international human rights treaties. These courses were organized in the past by UNITAR and, for the last three years, by International Training Centre of the ILO in cooperation with the United Nations Centre for Human Rights. The Manual incorporates the experience and expertise gained during these courses.
