The objective of the study regarding the main idea of this book is to establish the initial mapping for LPSK, to find the obstacles faced by the institution, and to look for the solution in form of remarks and general recommendations.

n mapping the LPSK as an institution, the research was conducted by collecting some references that were taken from various sources such as regulations that are relevant to witness protection, state institution, articles related to witness and victims protection, as well as comparison with the existing commission in Indonesia and witness and protection institution in other countries.

We expect the main ideas of this book could asssist the government of the members of LPSK in preparing the blue print of LPSK. Therefore, after the establishment of LPSK, this institutions would be able to function maximally, to implement their strategies and their working priorities. Hence, they would be able to assisst the law enforcer in finishing a case and would provide justice for the witness and the victims.
